This golf ball cannon was built as a personal project to explore the fundamentals of kinematics I was learning in physics in a hands-on way. It uses pressurized air to launch golf balls at speeds exceeding 200 mph and distances of up to 1,400 feet. Powered by a RYOBI battery, the cannon uses a sprinkler valve for rapid pressure release stored within PVC tubing. While not entirely practical, it was an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding project!
